Over the corse of my education and working in the industry I have developed interest in Full Stack Development and Mobile Development. Software Engineer II

  • Responsible for end-to-end ownership and development of several tools that increased developer productivity and facilitated in automating the testing and release of the products.
  • Contributed to the development of Zeus, a Django and AngularJS based web application that provides the infrastructure for scheduling, executing, and tracking the Nimble OS automation builds.
  • Made back-end optimizations to Zeus to improve dashboard performance and implemented a real-time result update by polling.
  • Developed an analytics dashboard to report KPIs for gaining insights into release-based build execution history and test case pass/fail trends.
  • Developed Kafka data pipelines and APIs for a tool used to automatically back out faulty changesets from builds.

Software Engineering Intern

  • Integrated Fitbit and Withings data of a patient using Validic APIs
  • Worked on developing pagination on the patient history section using the will_paginate library.
  • Optimized the server-side code by profiling and monitoring performance on Mixpanel, this helped reducing the loading time from 90 secs to 55 secs of PDF generation for a patient’s blood glucose report.
  • Built a custom hosted on AWS S3 for data analytics like failure types, device usage and browser response time based on data from New Relic.

Web Developer

  • Designing and developing blogs.sjsu.edu/humanities-arts hosted on WordPress using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Refactored the websites to achieve readability and accessibility: sjsu.edu/humanitiesandarts
  • Developed a ticketing system using Google Script that accepts new feature request for the college websites

Finance Geek

  • Developed an application that calculates an individual’s food expenditure through manual input or through scanned receipts by using Optical Character Recognition.
  • The system also generates a list of more affordable alternatives using Location Based Services.

University Carpool System

  • Developed a Carpool System for the university staff and students based on multiple design patterns.
  • The user could create a new account and choose to be a driver or a rider.
  • The system matches the schedule and allows the user to pick the driver or the rider.
  • The system also provides driver and rider location tracking and notifications, payment system and parking details.

MeLotto

  • Developed an app for keeping a track of California Power Ball Lottery Tickets where the user could store the lottery tickets information.
  • The system automatically checks the California Lottery ticket website and notifies the user of the results.
